Woodview Lodge

Great location for visiting the Peak District. Lovely walks right from the doorstep. Accommodation was excellent, clean and well equipped. Karen was so friendly and helpful too.

Super helpful and lovely hosts, even gave me some frozen peas for my ankle when I sprained it! Fab location as walks from the doorstep, short walk into Holmebrook Valley country park. Property has most that you need for a break, even washing machine. Hosts offered blankets and towels for the dog too, and let us use the garden freely as well as the hose to wash the dog and our boots down as it was pretty muddy on walks at the time we visited. Selection of dvds and a dvd player.

Dog didn’t like the laminate floors as he was slipping so we had to repurpose rugs from around the house to make a bigger area he was happy on, would take a few yoga mats again. Fire stick would be a nice addition to allow access to more tv channels but appreciate most only use it as a base so would take my own next time.

Very comfortable apartment, well equipped and homely. Ideal as a base for a few days. Lovely helpful host.

Incredibly lovely owners, warm and comfortable apartment, they were happy for the children to have a run around in the back garden and left some apples to feed the horse in adjacent field, lots of nice dog walks close by, centrally located to explore the Peak district

nothing weather was awful but that can't be helped!!

Location was perfect for us as we wanted to visit relatives in Chesterfield. Karen greeted us when we arrived and also checked that everything had gone well before we left. The property has everything you need and the kitchen, although quite small has plenty of crockery, glasses etc. The beds are comfortable and the decor throughout is clean and tidy. We have used this property twice and will definitely do so again.

There is nothing to dislike at all.

The quality of the furnishings were of high standard and general ambience exceeded my expectations.

This is subjective feedback - the only issue that I experienced was that the double bed was too soft which led to back pain. I am used to firmer mattresses.
