Sea Shore Lodge Mudeford

Property was beautifully located in a wonderful site. We could see and hear the sea from the lodge. The site was small and personable with a fantastic outdoor pool! The lodge itself was tidy and spacious. Gordon communicated back to us when we messaged him.

Sadly all the bedsheets smelt musty so we opted to wash them, but the washing machine wasn’t working. When contacting the owner, apparently the washing machine had broken prior to our visit. This wasn’t communicated to us. We then had to await new bed linen to be dropped off which wasn’t until quite late in the evening. There were also no toilet rolls in the property on arrival or tablets for the dishwasher. We didn’t feel like all this was reflected for the price was paid so sadly won’t be returning. The site itself is lovely though.

Location was excellent the lodge was well equipped kitchen wise.but lodge was a little tired

Couldn't use ensuite sink due to it leaking ..bed linen provided smellt fusty..very little toilet roll in bathroom no bath mat .no liners in the waste bin. No information pack telling you of facilities and where to deposit your waste..the cleaning could have been a bit more thorough lots of cobwebs .. veranda was covered in leaves .

Sea Shore Lodge was very comfortable and, although there was no view as such, it was very close to the sea and esplanade.

The information regarding facilities used the term “bathing towels not provided” which I interpreted as extra towels for use in the swimming pool. Consequently, I had to buy towels for our stay as when I have stayed at Sandhills’ lodges in the past, they have always been included. I would have preferred it to state that no towels were provided.

Mudeford ia a place that I know and sandhills was a nice place to stay to visit mudeford again.
