Thuring's Holiday Bungalow

All of the staff/family was so friendly and welcoming. They let us stay in the coming areas after our check out time and se could have out luggage stored there also. They made a Nice breakfast Even though we didnt tell them the evening Before that we would like breakfast, so kind. The place was cute and peaceful, with a view directly to tea plantations. The room was nice with warm blankets.

The room was a bit cold especially the bathroom, but it was nice with a hot shower and the warm blankets for the beds! The location is a bit away from nuwara eliya city center, but at the same time it was a peaceful area.

They are a lovely family, the place was clean and comfortable and breakfast was great.

The property was okay but the host was nice. The room had a view to the mountains/tea plantation but it was obstructed by a power line. The room had a nice bathroom. The room's plugs had melted in some places. The room was small and there weren't many plug points. The location was okay, going to the nearest shop/cafe was a considerable distance.

The bungalow is a great guesthouse. It's a bit outside town, but I actually preferred the location. Still walkable, nearby the lake and stunning views on the tea fields. Quiet at night. The host picked me up at the train station and organized a trip to Damaro tea factory. A true gentleman and I felt welcome. Recommended

Spotlessly clean, comfortable room, nice house overall with a selections of books available.

Was a bit noisy the nights I stayed. 20 min walk to restaurants was fine for me but may be a factor for others.

Cannot recommend this place enough!! The rooms are amazing, Ruwan is an incredibly generous and helpful host and the scenery next to the Tea plantations is beautiful. Thank you so much for a lovely stay!

The place totally exceeded our expectations for the price. Clean nice room with big bed, extra warm blankets. Fantastic bathroom with new plumbing, fully functional heater and shower cabin. The host was very friendly and helpful.
