"Beautiful house and perfect location in Cotswold water park"

Beautiful house located in the heart of the Cotswold water park. We walked around the lake and also did alot of local walks from the house. We also booked a session of kayaking - walkable distance. Also alot of cafes in walking distance. The Gateway Cafe is about 5 minutes a good spot for lunch. We made use of the local facilities and the beautiful house space. Very well kitted including the kitchen. Decorated throughout with books. Fresh sheets and towels in all rooms. Sunset and sunrises were beautiful. Cirencester is also a super short drive from the house. We managed to walk around the town centre. Good communication with hosts

Serene, loved the lake scenery from the master bedroom, especially at sunrise. Beautiful house for a group stay. The thoughtful guide provided by the hosts made us feel welcome. Candles, room spray, and books were provided for use at the house. Small details made us change our itinerary and just stay in. Lots of ducks and they were fun to watch. Clear air. Quiet neighbourhood.

Maybe because we were not really familiar with the area so we felt it was quite far from the restaurants and popular tourist attractions in Cotswolds, around a 20-30 minute drive. But if you are looking for a place to recharge and not looking for crowded places, it's definitely far from something to dislike.
