The Wee Coolins-holiday home with wood burner

Lovely place to stay with stunning scenery. Woodburner was great. House was a good place to stay, chill if you want or head out sightseeing. The washing machine and airer were good to have as we were on a three week trip. The pub/hotel a few minutes walk away was very friendly and you could book to eat there. Host was available by phone and helpful when we had a question.

Small things which would have made it better. We cooked and ate but could have done with more cutlery and crockery and cupboards for storing food. There was only a small open shelf unit to put clothes so somewhere to hang clothes needed, especially if you're staying longer or there are four of you. Appreciate there wasn't room for a wardrobe in the bedroom, but perhaps one outside the bedroom door instead of the shelf unit would have been better. This said, it would not stop us from returning, but might do if we wanted to stay for a week.
