The Wee Coolins-holiday home with wood burner

Bed was comfortable but too small for two adults

Facilities

Using the sofa bed in lounge was badly affected by noise from the adjoining house. Sounded as if people were in the room. I had a quick look and there appears to be an opening (door?j hidden behind a free standing book case. Next door guests were just talking in normal voices, the opening between the two properties needs sealing.

Neat, clean and fully equipped. Private courtyard was Great Beautiful location. Could have stayed longer! An author or artist would be comfortable for a long stay. Nicely decorated!

I found the bed a bit low to the ground and soft. Also pillows quite low and flat. Just personal preference.

Excellent location, well-equipped kitchen, spacious bathroom, nice wood burner for cosy evenings, reasonably priced, very clean, plenty of teatowels, towels etc Convenient parking space at side of property

Not at all peaceful evenings and early mornings because of noise overhead from children running about in upstairs accommodation (obviously no fault of property owners!)! Some clothes/ luggage storage would be nice, blind in bedroom too far away from window to keep light out

Location was fantastic, property was well maintained and cosy and comfortable. Would strongly recommend. Even the sofa bed for the kids was comfy. Wood burner was also much appreciated.

Noisy neighbours. The Coolins next door also had guests and we could hear their every movement.

A lovely well presented property, clean and tidy and had everything you needed to make the short stay comfortable. Will definitely book again if planning a visit with family.
