The Coolins cottage with wood burner

The location was good. It had a washing machine and a large airer. Comfortable settee and decent WiFi.

The shower tray was broken in the main en suite and according the reviews it has been that was since April. The bathroom bin was full of used women's products.  The kitchen bin lid is filthy and smelly.  Spiders webs and bugs  on the kitchen window.  Dusty dirty kirting boards.  A spiders web on the bathroom floor full of dust so it has been there a while.   Shower tray dirty at the edges inside and outside. Kitchen fridge had the remnants of the previous occupants. Broccoli bits etc on the shelves and the drawer.  Spilt milk on the seal between the fridge and freezer.  Cooking red sauce and crumbs not wiped from the counter top.  Dried food  and rusty microwave. Food and dust that you see straight away under the settee. Also half a toilet roll in the bathroom, no dishcloth or tea towel.  No shampoo or shower gel. I consider these to be basics. It seems like the owner no longer cares.

Quiet location. Large room size. Nice backyard.

A bit out of the way to stay if visiting Isle of Skye but the views along the drive is beautiful.

Es war nicht sauber. Der Toilettendeckel war kaputt und lose.

The house was safe and in a beautiful setting. We particularly enjoyed the little community and restaurant.

Le code pour récupérer la clef n’était pas bon. Appel au gestionnaire pour avoir le bon code à partir du numéro communiqué : jamais de réponse. Heureusement d’autres personnes ayant pu rentrer,nous ont donné un autre numéro En plus une des douches était cassée.
