The Coolins cottage with wood burner

Una casita preciosa con 3 habitaciones, cada una con baño. La cocina equipada perfectamente para poder comer /cenar en casa. Gran tranquilidad, pub cerca. Estuvimos super agusto!

Se cercate un’accoglienza dignitosa, passate oltre. Questa non è una struttura ricettiva, ma una rendita passiva abbandonata a se stessa dai proprietari, chiaramente assenti e totalmente disinteressati al benessere minimo dell’ospite. Punti critici: 1) Sporcizia inaccettabile: lo sporco regna sovrano in ogni angolo (vedi foto allegate). Le pulizie sono superficiali, al limite del decoro. 2) Assenza di lenzuola: nonostante avessimo prenotato per 3 persone, non ci sono state fornite le lenzuola per il terzo letto (divano letto). Un ospite è stato costretto a dormire sul divano arrotolato dentro al piumone. Solo dopo avere contattato il servizio clienti di Booking.com, i proprietari ci hanno fatto recapitare tramite un vicino delle lenzuola sporche (a sfregio), in una busta che era anch'essa sporca. 3) Gestione sciatta e poco responsabile: abbiamo contattato i proprietari per segnalare i vari disagi legati al soggiorno nella loro struttura, ma abbiamo ricevuto solo scaricabarile: invece di risolvere il problema o scusarsi, hanno incolpato il personale delle pulizie. In sintesi, una gestione sciatta che incassa i soldi ma non investe un centesimo nella cura della casa o del cliente. Un’esperienza irritante e degradante che spero nessuno debba ripetere.

Location and size and layout of house great Woodburner was great. Amount of crockery and utensils was good.

Kitchen equipment was dirty. Oven still had grease and caked on food in it. Utensils were greasy at bottom of container. No firelighters and gas igniter was on last legs. 1 of the toilets was not working- needed a new mechanism. 1 of showers not working but we had a note to advise re this. Toaster dirty and rusty. Microwave dirty and rusty. Lots of other things pointed to lack of update and not being maintained. Dust on skirting boards and pictures. Lack of microwaveable containers. Missing lock in one of windows in a bedroom was a fire risk. Both fridge and freezer had remnants of a previous occupant. Lack of response from owner.

Praktické uspořádání domacnosti.

Bohužel to nebylo moc čisté, podlaha nebyla umyta, ani lednička. Při příjezdu jsme dostali špatný přístupový kod k lockboxu. Vyřešil to ale jeden telefonát personálu.
