Lake Cottage - Panoramic views 7 Cidades

The location with lovely view of the lake. Very quiet and peaceful . Basic amenities but the host did warn us to shop before we arrived.

It was cold in December and the electric heaters struggled to keep the main living area warm. Some quirks with the house, such as squeaky pipes, loud AC units and limitations with the number of electrical appliances that could be used simultaneously. Saying that, we really enjoyed ourselves and the house, very peaceful and quiet surroundings . Would happily stay there again. .

House is located in a beautiful area. Breakfast on the terrace with the stunning lake view was just what I needed to relax.

There was two things that would be good to have for a longest stay. First is a washing machine and the second is bbq place that is actually exist on the back of the house but it's not in best condition.

The cottage is nestled right in at the edge of the lake, birds in front, cows in back! Beautiful views, quiet evenings on the huge front porch overlooking the lake. Instructions were clear and helpful and everything we needed was available. We only stayed two nights but decided it would be an awesome place for a week! There is so much to see and do just short drives from the cottage.

Woke up to a beautiful lake in the morning. Close to a town where you can get fresh break for 0.40 euros if you can find the bakery and also a small general store that had everything. Central location allows you to choose what to do in the area; The abandoned hotel, the trail around the caldera, the huge number of vista points, swim in the lake or enjoy the picnic area that's just beyond (0.5km) the cabin. Besides the occasional fly not scary insects inside the house. Make sure to open all the window shutters.

If you arrive at night it is very dark. The outside light was left on and after a little scouting we had the right place. Parking into the driveway was a little tricky even if it wasn't dark. The driveway has loose gravel and a steep incline with a limited entry angle.

Nice, big house next to the lake with spectacular view. Unfortunately a bit old, and it wasnt the most comfortable bed, but apart from this equiped with all that u need except washingmachine. Will be perfect for family that wants to take rest in calmed place.

For us, the best local accommodation we've ever stayed in in the Azores. The house is beautiful, for those who appreciate a more rustic look, nothing is missing, everything is perfect. The host is friendly but, above all, the view is idyllic! An inexplicable peace. I recommend it 100% and hope to return soon. Thank you so much

Location is fantastic. Secluded, tranquil, unbeatable on this island. The house is newly renovated. It’s got everything a family will need. Very spacious living room. Beautiful front yard overlooking the lake for a picnic. Rarely anyone around. Just birds chirping.

During windy nights, the window panels make a lot of loud noise that’s hard to sleep with. Pillows are way too thin…

Amazing location. Private serene and gorgeous. The house has all the basics plus a large dining/entertaining area. The lake is across the lane a few hundred meters and the rest of the house is surrounded by gorgeous pastures. The lane along the lake is great for morning walks or jogs. The cute village of Sete Cidades is just around the lake so it’s a quick drive to dining etc.
