"Peaceful."

Beautiful location, great views (when it wasn’t foggy) but that’s not their fault it was a very cool spot! Nice size , had a nice welcome basket with some coffee and snacks which was great.

The bed was very hard, only one old battered pillow each. No duvet cover just a sheet underneath it. The house was very musty and a bit damp, we had to open everything up for a few hours to air it out a bit, not great if you have dust allergies. The window shutters need some attention.

"Very good"

We really enjoyed our stay. If you’re a person who likes seclusion it is perfect. It’s what we really enjoyed.

The dirt road into the cottage after a rain was challenging. Also there was a leak in the roof but a bucket caught the drips.

Great location - right by the lake and less than 5 min drive to the village. Property is exactly as advertised, well equipped and clean. Responsive host. Would highly recommend.

"Charming cottage with incredible views."

10/10 for location and view. There is a stunning view of the lake. We loved having breakfast on the porch with an incredible view. The cottage is located close to Sete Cidades down a quiet dirt road. It is one of the few lakefront properties.

You sacrifice a bit of comfort for the incredible views. The cottage is charming but must have had some water damage as there is a smell of mildew. The beds are not very comfortable. However, I’m glad we chose the cottage because of the location and views.

"The location was spectacular, especially when the weather is clear."

Loved the front porch with the beautiful view of the lake. It was quiet and remote. We enjoyed watching the windsurfers on the lake and the proximity to easy walking paths. The air conditioning in the bedrooms worked very well.

The beds were old and very uncomfortable. There was a slight musty odor when we first arrived before opening up the windows.

"A charming cottage beside the crater lake"

Very scenic and beautiful place with hiking trails around the crater nearby.

Some things in the house are in need of minor renovation. The gates are narrow and it makes driving in uphill challenging if you are not used to it. We would also expect having consumables renewed instead of a couple of unused hair conditioners or decaf coffee capsules.
