What a surprise, we thought we are in the middle of a town but is in the middle of the wilderness. Trish is such a lovely host, also her sister Val, who helped us with checking out. Nice and cosy home, next time we have to stay longer

* Pool was out of service * Electricity was a big problem * Only one big cooking pot was available in kitchen, no big glass bowls for preparing food * Suggest a big drum to stow the Braai ash * Another curtain at cottage entry will be an advantage

Central stopping station for giraffe, impala, warthog, zebra and some kudu. Easy access to roads and facilities. Close to river for quick stroll. Quiet most of the time. Just the right setting for braai fire and bush TV fire. Quick response wild life relocation on call when required.

Lacking some packing space in second building. Some cooking utensils were not properly cleaned on arrival. An initial batch of braai wood and firelighters on arrival would help with first evening meal start-up. Especially if shops are closed already. An initial batch of ice will help cool the warm drinks on arrival.

Amazing location, great value for money perfect for visiting the Kruger. Incredible having giraffes and Kadu wandering into the garden.
