Vira Señor House

Exceptionally friendly staff, an enormous house all to ourselves, and a well-stocked kitchen (which included a lovely bottle of wine and some olive oil from the farm next door). The house was immaculately clean and tidy, and we were provided with bath towels, multiple beach towels, slippers, a variety of toiletries, a hairdryer, and a collection of brochures and maps. The manager who checked us in also gave us loads of helpful suggestions of places to visit and how to get there. There were also loads of power outlets, which came in very handy, and a washing machine (plus a drying rack outside). Uniquely, the house came with flushable toilet paper: a real luxury, as everywhere else in Greece the paper goes in a bin and not down the loo! The cleaner came every day and was extremely sweet and easy to talk to. She was also more than happy to schedule her arrival according to our needs. The house is located very close to some great mezze places and a big supermarket, and also to a bus stop that connects you to Adamas on the one end and Plaka and Trypití on the other. (Easy to walk to Plaka, though.) The beach at Mandrakia is walking distance. We also walked to Sarakiniko, but that might not be everyone's idea of an easy stroll, so maybe take the bus to that one. When we checked out, the manager and his wife brought us a goodbye present consisting of some traditional sweets: such a nice gesture! We'd definitely stay here again.

Spacious and very clean

One bedroom slightly small - no storage facilities

We were traveling as a family of four and the house had plenty of room to spread out and relax. We appreciated the ease of having a kitchen for simple meal prep and made use of the washing machine to catch up on laundry. Location is a great home base to explore many different regions of Milos. Easy access to Plaka and port town as well as grocery store etc. The daily cleaning was an unexpected bonus!

A beautiful house, very comfortable furniture, nice spacious layout. Great place to relax after the days adventures on the island. The outside area is very peaceful and pleasent, more private than we expected. The location is excellent, friendly locals, a quiet neighbourhood but only a few minutes walk from the more lively areas. Our host was fantastic. He was very helpful with anything we needed and ensured everything went smoothly during our stay.

The location of the house was great. Only 5 min drive to Plaka and the bus stop is very close too. The host was very helpful. We arrived quite late at night but he still came to greet us and to explain everything. He also gave us great tips. We can definitely recommend this place.

Very big, new and clean house with an outside table.and chaird for anything. Everything is new and the owner was very kind and helpful.

One of the air conditioned was not working properly but the ownership help us quick and effectively.
