Mary's House

Location was great and very close to the shuttle service for the port. Home was very roomy with three large bedrooms.

Great and spacious place. There were eight of us and it did not feel cramped. Each room has an en suite bathroom. Great location. Walking distance to restaurants and to the Largo Della Pace station with free transfers to the cruise terminal. Gianfranco is an excellent host. He assisted us with transportation arrangements from FCO airport to Civitavecchia and to the terminal on embarkation day (we had kids and limited mobility travelers — otherwise could have walked 5 minutes down the block with luggage to the free coaches). If ever departing Civitavecchia, we would stay nowhere else!

Nothing to dislike!

We liked the deck. It was the only place to sit.

The shower head was broken and water was flying all over the place. No toiletries as is usual in accommodations. The One garbage can for 6 people. No wine cork. No sharp knives ,coffee maker didn’t work No wine glasses. Door frame fell of and hit one of our party in the head Be sure you know there are two flights is stairs to climb with heavy luggage. Would we refer this place. Never. One out of 3 beds are comfortable. Quite shameful to be honest

Location for the cruise passenger is excellent. Only 150 meters of easy walking with cases to the free bus transport to ship. Close to shops etc to pickup food and souvenirs.

Breakfast is continental and is very, very light. Lots of coffee options available through a large coffee making ma hind but no tea making facilities.

The host waited for us until 2am and he was super nice. The apartment was big, clean and comfortable, and just a street away from our shuttle! Perfect if you’re taking a cruise.

There’s one steep flight of stairs to get to the apartment so get ready to carry your luggage.
