A Casa da Tia

A spacious house with balcony and a "special place" on top. Parking right in front to go anywhere from there, especially northern part. But also goes convection to the southern part.

We think the bathroom could be upgraded.

Nice scenery, clean, good facilities, well located for hiking. It was a very wet time of year, but the heaters and dehumidifiers were adequate. Biscuits and homemade jam were a nice touch.

The time spent in Casa da Tia was absolutely amazing. The owner was most accomodating in all ways - she enabled us the earlier check in, communication before and during the stay was geat. The place si spacy but cozy, furnished with taste and love. The owner thought about the details not only in visual site oh the house, but in equipment of the kitchen as well. The rooms are quiet and beds comfortable. There is a lot of space to spend holiday time together but also the nooks to be just by yourself for a while -my favourite was the terrace on the roof with an amazing view.

It is a great place to stay but during winter the house is a bit cold so count to use heating often. Teresa as the owner is amazing lady and it was our pleasure to meet her. Neighbours are very friendly and I will definitely come to that part of Madeira again not only due to nice land but people too.

A beautiful little house in a strategic location in the middle of the island. Parking is secured directly in front of the house. Near the accommodation there is a shop, a great restaurant, a cafe and a gas station. Teresa is an absolutely wonderful and kind host who always responded immediately to emails or whatsapp messages and was always happy to help or advise us.

it had everything we needed. Very well equipped kitchen, two floors, plenty of space and even a rooftop area. Teresa, the host met us at check in and showed us around, she was very warm and welcoming and remained very helpful during our stay.

It's a really unique, extraordinary, and very pleasant experience to stay at this house and meet such nice, friendly, and hospitable people. In a few words, I want fully recommend and encourage people to stay at this house and enjoy immersion in the nature of the beautiful island! Hosts Teresa and Luis are very friendly and started to communicate with us in advance and gave answers to all our questions ( it was important for me to have a good internet connection and parking space ) Luis met us on arrival and gave all information about a house and location around, with very useful hints and recommendations. The house was clean and we also found a plate with local fruits and sweets from the hosts for us :) House It's very comfortable and fully equipped with all the needed furniture and kitchen appliances. Every single detail for your comfortable stay is provided by the host. The Interior is designed with a sense of taste, elements are connected to each other. Cups, pictures of birds, and blankets all in one color tone it's a really cozy house and it has everything that makes you feel like you are at home ( honestly, it's hard to find a similar feeling, and we're so lucky to rent it on our vacation trip ) The balcony on the second floor has a mountain view and it was a pleasure to spent time on it. Location The convenient location of the house allows you to quickly get to all significant places on the island. Nature around is a separate and astonishing experience, we really liked it. And after staying in some other common areas like Funcal, I would say that next time I for sure going to come back to this house for vacation.
