"A memorable stay at A Casa da Tia."

Everything was perfect for us. The host Teresa was extremely helpful and friendly, kindly and promptly answering our questions whenever we asked for advice. The location is Rosario, Vargem - a peaceful small village on the way to Sao Vicente, from where we could quite easily visit the beautiful Northern part of Madeira, but also drive around the whole island. The accomodation is very easily accessible from the main road and has comfortable free parking nearby. It is a prettily renovated house with a ground and first floor, having all amenities as described including a well equipped kitchen. It is spacious, comfortable and very clean. The house is immersed in a green valley setting from which you get to enjoy beautiful views of the mountains. Situated next to it is the church 'Igreja do Rosario' and a small cafe' Tendhina da Poncha where locals meet. Not very far away is a convenient supermarket with a very good grill restaurant underneath it. We gladly recommend Teresa and A Casa da Tia.
