Great location within walking distance to the village, full kitchen, roomy bathroom, pet friendly.

Mattress is insanely uncomfortable. People in the unit next door kept taking our rocking chairs on the front porch, despite having a back patio. Host was completely unresponsive.

It had some character.

1. Massively under-air conditioned. 2. No A/C in middle bedroom upstairs. 3. Incredibly hard to get the address and entry information. When I called 30 days out to retrieve I was told to call back within 48 hours. When I called back day of I was told to go to some booking.com app by the host. I asked her for the address and she spoke so fast I could not capture it. I asked her again and she was annoyed with me. I asked her how to get into the unit and she again referred me to "emails sent to you by booking.com" for which I had no emails and I was driving. When I asked her for the code again to help me she was again very annoyed. Finally she texted me the door code but that text didn't have the address. Then I get another text with address but not door code. Chaos. 4. Mean, angry, rude host expressing constant annoyance when I ask simple questions like "what is the address?" and "what is the door code to get in?". Instead of telling me, she goes into a big rigamarole about some booking.com app to make me feel stupid and incompetent. I've never heard I needed to use that app and have zero emails from booking.com other than original confirmaton, which DOES NOT HAVE the door code and I was driving, so could not read the invoice. Why make customers feel bad? Why not just give them the address and door code *without* running them around? 5. Top bedroom bed had an odd mattress that you could feel a line/ridge across it. 6. Unit wants YOU the paying guest to strip the beds and help with that part of housekeeping.

perfect location vs restaurant and city at walking distance. overall house style. Quietness. Parking lot. well equipped.

bed sheets (synthetic) and quilt are of poor quality. Bathroom floor rug shld be replaced. Surprised we had to remove bed sheets and trash before departure not usual for a Booking. Rent not suitable for people with limited mobility or young children (stairs type)

Location. plenty of pots and pans good refrigerator and stove Great fast response from Angela when we couldn’t get in.

Really run down. No table to eat dinner on, we had to bring the outdoor wire table round to the porch where we ate. An electric kettle would be good or a topper for the stove kettle so you can hear it when it boils. The kitchen floor flooded after rain on Friday morning. A tea towel would be good instead of having to use paper towels (less waste) Not suitable for elderly due to super low toilet and uneven surfaces everywhere. Previous guests dirty socks under bed.

it was quaint and welcoming. it had so much character loved that there was off street parking. The porch was awesome, we enjoyed sitting and rocking after a day of exploring Harpers Ferry.

The stairs were a bit tricky but with the understanding that it’s part of the design for that era of the house, the railings were strong and steady.

The location is perfect considering the amount of traffic that makes it's way downtown. Everything is within walking distance.

What I didn't like was while booking my reservations the website under "Pets" says FREE, pets are allowed no extra charge. However, when we arrived and upon checking out, we received emails that say $35 pet fee payable in cash upon check out in envelope marked payments. We specifically booked this due to free pets, because we had to bring our dog with us on this trip. Needless to say, I'm not paying the $35 dollar charge. Get you website right and don't hit me with another charge upon arrival, that's not cool!
