Ironstone Cottage

We were a bit worried about the road to the property in our little rental, but it was fine. Really good vibes at this place.

Beautiful place, very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed visit from the two friendly dogs. The service was great. Everything we needed was available there. Thank you for the great hospitality.

Nothing we didnt like

I love this cottage! This was our second visit and we would happily stay there again. The views and surroundings are so peaceful and the cottage itself is very well equipped. We arrived very late but this was no problem as the key is in a lock box. The security is good too as there is a monitored security gate several kilometers before the farm. Highly recommended.

Setting an quiet. Very peaceful. Warm comfortable beds. Two beds en suite for two single people ... good not to share. Pleasantly surprised at how good the farm roads are. A previous visitor comment about the corrugated roads almost put us off. Best to check in with the hosts re cuerent state. ⁰

Too short a stay.

A real 'out of Africa' feel to ironstone cottage!! It was furnished with lovely wooden furniture that was all in good condition, lamps and wall pictures were lovely, and bedding was very comfy. The bathrooms were also very well updated and easy to use. Proactive management of our booking was good,with clear instructions to find the cottage.

Nothing (Bumpy road to get there, but that's temporary until the road gets re-graded after the last huge rains).

Perfect location if you love nature! Small farm cottage with beautiful surroundings. Loved the farm dogs that came to say hello every day.
