The Old Laundry at Allt A'Mhuilinn

The Old Laundry is a very lovely cottage, inviting you to relax and unwind. The kingsize bed was super comfortable, the living room very cosy and we loved watching the birds on the bird feeder in the front yard. To top this off, our host Rachel was incredibly nice and helpful.

We liked virtually everything! Only thing we missed in the kitchen was a strainer and the light in the kitchen might have been brighter. (But I am sure Rachel would have fixed this if we had asked, but it wasn't that important.)

Gorgeous setting along the River Spean. Accommodations were perfect for our family of three—spotless, comfy, scenic location, and quiet. Having two bathrooms, a comfortable lounge/living room and dining area and well-stocked kitchen made for a perfect home base while we explored the area (mostly we hiked). It was also wonderful to have the opportunity to wash a few clothes, as we were entering the third week of our three-week holiday. Also, Rachel was a most friendly and hospitable host in every way.

Stunning location with a wonderful host Rachel who looked after us so well. The property itself is absolutely beautiful well equipped well designed and perfect for families and friends alike.

Everything had been thought about with so much attention to detail that there was really nothing not to like!

The cottage is wonderful and in the perfect spot for two weeks of exploring the Scottish Highlands. Rachel, the owner, is the kindest and friendliest of all people. Everything is prepared, you don't need to bring a thing of worry about anything. Thank you for everything, Rachel!

The host, Rachel was super lovely and welcoming. She made sure we were comfortable and welcomed us with since lovely home made smores. The location of the property was so picturesque and pretty. The cottage was very clean and the facilities were just perfect. Our stay was wonderful.

Facilities were excellent. The hostess greeted us with freshly baked scones. The fridge contained bread, butter, jam and milk. That was a real bonus. Rachael provided us with local travel information about restaurants. She went over and above to make us feel welcome. Each day she would inquire about our travels.

This is the loveliest place we have ever stayed. Rachel and Richard made us feel so welcome. It was just like being in our own home without any of the daily stress. It is the most peaceful place we have stayed at with the river running nearby, the abundance of birdlife and the open fire. The beds were so comfortable and we had a couple of lovely restaurants that we could walk to. We chose to stay in and cook a couple of nights because it was just so 'nice being at home'. It is the perfect place to drive and explore the Nevis range, Glencoe, Fort William and the Scottish highlands and all that this beautiful area has to offer. We will definitely be back 💚

fantastic a warm welcome couldn’t have wished for better. wonderful base to explore the highlands comfortable clean and inviting accommodation, would definitely say again and recommend to friends and family.

beautiful home away from home. the cottage is big & comfortable.

the Wi-Fi is patchy at best. this was very frustrating especially when travelling for a long time & being a long way from home. it made communicating with loved ones at home very difficult.
