We stayed at this great apartment in Vico Equense as a family of four and had a wonderful experience. The location is very convenient and it also offers private parking, which is a huge plus in Vico Equense where parking can be a real challenge. The apartment is situated in a beautifully renovated old house that reminds grandma's house with a beautiful front yard with astonishing view and a big table. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean, very well-equipped, and perfect for a family stay. The beds were very comfortable. It was supplied with a variety of local products for breakfast! Our host, was exceptionally welcoming. She greeted us personally, explained everything we needed to know, and was always available and eager to help throughout our stay. We highly recommend this place without hesitation.

Charming spot and comfortable accommodation with a beautiful terrace and super-helpful host

We absolutely loved this apartment and the host Garda and her husband were wonderful. I was traveling with my 70 year old mother and college aged daughter and her friend. The apartment is very large for this area - the two bedrooms, kitchen and living room are nicely decorated. My mom stayed on the pull out couch and said it was very comfortable. Garda provided a basket of packaged pastries and snacks, which we ate for breakfast daily, saved us time and expense. We also had enough water bottles for first day and meat and cheese in fridge. She arranged for pick up from the train station, which is very closeby and walkable but helpful to have a driver with luggage. Walking into the town is only 5 minute walk and there are many shops and restaurants. If you are debating between staying in Vico or Sorrento, the main advantage of Sorrento is its larger with more restaurants and shopping - but I am very happy with our choice to stay in Vico at this location. There is a large balcony - while it doesnt have ocean views, its a lovely view of the town and we enjoyed our morning coffee there. We took a private boat tour to Capri which Garda helped arrange and it was wonderful - highly redommend! It’s expensive - about $159 Euro per person - so just be sure you get a full quote and understand all the costs. You will have 4 hours on Capri which go very fast - must do the gondola ride - expect $20E /pp for bus to get you up and back and the gondola is $14E (be sure you specify round trip!!)

I have nothing negative about the property itself! It was truly wonderful. A couple tips about excursions. My biggest recommendation is to really understand your bus options (where is the stop, where do you buy tickets, how late does it run) and if uber/taxi required, know it will be very expensive. Also ask for full quotes in advance to understand all costs for any taxi or private excursion. If you go to Positano or Amalfi, this requires taking a bus from Sorrento (Circumvesuviana train from Vico to Sorrento, anso ztrain station only 5 min. walk from apt). We took the SITA bus from Sorrento to Positano. A word of caution in Positano - I’m not sure if there was another stop closer down by the beach but we got off at the main stop and there are 1800 steps from the top to the bottom (by beach), which took 45 minutes, as my mom is in her 70s. If you are younger and in good shape, recommend the stairs as its very beautiful walk down. Otherwise, be sure you know the options for getting both down into the town and especially back up! We spent a fortune on a taxi to get back to Vico to spare walking back up the stairs (was not feasible for my mom). Garda had suggested an option for a private driver for a day and in retrospect , I would highly recommend looking into this if you have older or even itty bitty travelers. But if you are young and in good shape, save yourself the expense and use the bus and train - no need for car. Definitely would NOT recommend trying to drive a car here in rhe summer for anyone from US - it is INSANE cliff driving and no parking.

The property was fantastic: comfy, roomy, and full of amenities. Breakfast included was a nice touch and coffee were abundant.
