Le Case Di Rosella

Location is perfect - short walk from the station in the centre of Vico Equense, with stunning views over the sea and town from the balcony. Property was immaculately clean and very well equipped. The owner, Garda, was incredibly helpful and kind, and overall our holiday was a wonderful experience.

Great apartment with literally everything you might need for your comfort. Big living room with kitchen, nice bathroom, two bedrooms. Kitchen is well equipped, host is extremely helpful and nice, there was plenty of food provided in the fridge and above as an extra benefit. Parking in nearby underground garage was provided for free.

Nothing really, the bedrooms are provided only with small windows, so the rooms are darker, but in the summer this might be even considered advantage.

Very good spot to travel to south coast of Italy. The place was clean and well organised with much needed amenities when you are travelling with kids. Owner was helpful and communicative.

First of all, few words about beds and rooms, as description at the site is not full and quite unclear. There are two separate sleeping rooms in the property: one with large double bed and the second with bunk bed; spacious leaving room offers additional sleeping space at one double sofa bed and one single sofa bed. Property itself is fully equipped - our family of 5 lacked nothing during the stay - and there are many consumables available at the arrival, like snacks, drinks, coffee/tea, seasonings, spices, tablets for washing machine etc. etc. Garda is an excellent host and very kind person - thank you a lot from all of us!

Really can't understand why the stair at the access claimed as cons in many reviews. Coastal towns of Amalfi peninsula all (OK, with few exceptions like Sorrento) have pretty vertical layout and walking stairs is a daily routine in the area. The same about claims for necessity to drive narrow and winding road. Those are local conditions, all area is like that. In reality Le Case Di Rosella has perfect location for stay in Vico Equense, very close to the main road and train station but claimed stairs are actually only vertical obstacle for walking to town's center with all it's points of interests, restaurants, stores etc. Only real issue to consider is some noise coming from trains driving the tunnel below the property.

The host was friendly and as helpful as she could be, giving advice when needed They carried our bags up the many stairs when we arrived and when we left. Everything was provided, including snacks, which were not listed on the property's page

The property was surrounded by scaffolding which detracted from the views and had to be negotiated when accessing the balcony table. The scaffolding was being used for building work which started as early as 7:30am with loud banging and drilling, which woke us up. There were 74 steps up to our apartment which made coming and going a bit of a trial. The owners provided free parking, but this was almost 10 minutes' walk away in the town We were very disappointed when we first arrived because of all the above and the sitting room was more of a passageway to the bathroom and kitchen. There was no comfortable place to sit. The terrace was shared and despite how high the appartment was, there were no views from the windows. We didn't enjoy being there and spent as little time as possible in the apartment.

Great communication with the host & we were collected from the train station. The location to the apartment is very central to vico Equense town / train station. There are beautiful views. The host had left many snacks / food in the fridge which was a very welcoming touch! FYI - there are a few stairs to take to access the apartment. Beach : from our own experience, a lot of the beaches are private, we did find a public beach a lot of steps down (and the same on the way back up!)

The location was great. It was spacious. The host of this B&B was most generous in her help and provisions. Gardner was always available and always helpful.

Our only complaint was the stairs, but we realize that’s unavoidable in a place like Vico Equense

The property was very clean and beautiful. It’s a well kept house. Amazing host! Well thought about the needs of what people might need in a house and made available.

There’s nothing we didn’t like about the property. Only drawback was staircase and that too only because we travelled with elders. But it was mentioned already in the listing.
