Borgo Buio Town House

The location was excellent and the facilities fantastic.

We loved this home. It was rather large with two full bathrooms. Very close to everything in town. I would recommend and stay again.

Conveniently located right in the heart of town. Beautifully decorated and equipped for cooking. Very clean and comfortable. Good communication with host.

We did not use the loft, as the stairs were difficult to manage, and the summer heat was quite intense on that level.

Lovely town house with beautiful views from main bedroom and living room windows. Great communication from our host, Silvia, who also helped with some local suggestions.

Beautiful facility, ideal location for all of our needs. Fantastic views from the windows. House was clean, comfortable, lots of character. Definitely would pick this place again first upon a return to Montepulciano.

Shower door never closed properly, needs to be put back into the tracks. Bed on the top floor is very firm, would prefer softer mattress. Window screens could help to keep out mosquitoes.

The property is located near to the main city attractions and site views.

The location was really good, just off the main street so avoided the noise but only a few steps away from the main street. Lovely views of beautiful Tuscany from the bedroom. Informative booklet with food recommendations and useful information :) The hosts are really lovely and accommodating. Thank you!

The property was not up to cleaning standards unfortunately. The night we arrived, we spent a long time trying to get a stink bug out of the light shade. We also found a dead bug on the bed frame under the mattress with a lot of dust and also brown marks all over the mattress. Did not feel the need to bring up the issue with the hosts as they were really lovely and there wouldn’t have been much they could do during our stay anyway.

2 nd bedroom in attic has steep stairs that make access hard.

I liked everything about this property! It was so delightful! Quaint and romantic and plenty of room. There’s a kitchen and dining room for cooking, but why would you when lovely restaurants are just a short stroll away? There’s even a piano, a washing machine for clean clothes or if you need some space to chill, there’s a comfy couch and Netflix.

Nothing. Everything was wonderful. The stairs might be tricky for some people but we no problem for us.
