1. The place is secure, private and quiet. 2. Traute is very friendly and welcoming. She also responds very quickly when you request something 3. The kitchen was well equipped. 4. The place is very close to the beach and restaurants. 5. The gas stove made life easy during loadshedding.

1. At first I thought the shower drain was blocked because water was building up, but later on I realised that the way the bathroom floor is designed causes water to build up in the shower when you are bathing, it will only drain later when you leave the bathroom. 2.There was a musty smell on Day 1, which I thought it would go away after opening windows, but it never went away. 3. The host should think about providing at least candle holders for guests during loadshedding. Or provide candles and rechargeable lights at an extra cost. 4. The door lock was a bit tricky for me to operate but luckily my husband had mastered the trick of how to operate it 😊

Loadshedding is an issue and the host does NOTHING for their guests. There were no candles or even candle holders. A Magneto light cost R 200, just buy 2 for your guests which can be charged and kept in the room. I had to pack in complete darkness on Monday morning which was very frustrating

The wifi was tough to get in some spots, I would suggests a rooter inside the room. But the Tv was always connected which was great.

I like the setting of the place ,the staff was very friendly .

Location Security Privacy

On arrival the place was clean, but some of the surfaces had some dust on it. Bit of a mix and match feel to the linen and kitchen utensils, felt more like a guest/extra room for family and friends than accommodation open to public. Water-buildup on stoep and in shower. My little boy fell on the stoep and banged his head very hard and it could be a safety hazard.
