Great Gorge Guesthouse - Walk to the Falls, the Casino and all Downtown Restaurants - Across from the Aquarium

Perfect location so we could walk or cycle everywhere in Niagara. Beds comfortable and the air con worked. Very clean. Perfect for a family of four with older teenagers. We used the bikes you can rent in Niagara using an app. There were always ones in the rack next to the Aquarium.

It would have been perfect if there had been a washing machine.

The property was spacious, quiet, and in a convenient location (only suitable for those staying on the U.S. side without crossing into Canada).

Honestly, many of the checkout rules felt unfriendly and took away from the travel experience. These requirements were not mentioned in advance on the booking page. Although the information stated that the price already included a cleaning fee, there were still numerous rules (especially stripping the bed sheets, flat sheets, and pillowcases). While I believe most guests are happy to help with basic tidying, the note about possibly deducting a security deposit (even though I don’t recall any deposit being held) was quite uncomfortable.

We enjoyed the homey feeling of the property and the cleanliness. The proximity of the property to the amenities was excellent.

Concerns in bathtub/shower because there wasn't a bar to help with slipping or getting in and out of the shower. The size of the beds were slightly small for a couple. Perhaps one bedroom should have a queen size bed.

I don’t like a firm mattress. The mattresses were very uncomfortable.
