Deerewood Cottage

Great location, homely feel the minute we walked into our cottage. Welcome pack was an added extra, which meant we put the kettle on straight away, consisting of tea, coffee, milk, and a homemade cake this was a lovely touch. It was great to have Paula pop over to welcome us and let us know she was on hand if needed and the location of the information hut, which was great in finding local attractions. We hope to be back soon.

Location superb for North Norfolk & National Trust visits 😁. For 2 couples this was a great property that allowed space & privacy but comfortable communal spaces too 👍.

Had a couple of issues with pressure dropping on the boiler but hosts were very quick to respond & helpful & sorted the problem 😁👍.

The apartment was clean and had everything that you need for a break. Brilliant location for exploring North Norfolk. Waking up to the birds singing excellent way to start the day.

There is nothing to dislike.

This was such a lovely property in a great location. The host was friendly and there was even a homemade cake waiting for us. The property was clean and very comfortable. There was a lovely wooded area to walk the dog in on site and an outside seating area which we would have used if the weather was a little warmer. Spacious and close to our favourite places - made a great base for a holiday with child, dog and grandparents.

Hardly anything could have been better. Probably a personal preference - the downstairs bathroom was a wet-room so the floor was usually wet. Really not a big deal but would bring crocs or something another time!

The location was excellent. Very quiet with a very good area to let the dogs have a run. The cottage was charming and the owners had even put a Christmas tree up for us.

We missed having a dishwasher but understand that it would be difficult to fit one in.

Great accommodation. Really like a home from home. A lovely homemade cake and milk for a cuppa made a lovely touch. Will definitely be back. It's a great location for exploring Norfolk.

The location is great. Straight into a lovely wooded area, great for walking the dog and very peaceful. Good facilities, good WI-FI. Could do with a wooden spoon in the kitchen though!

Hosts were very good with communication and always responded quickly. Entry to the property was very simple and the property was exceptionally clean and well appointed. For dog owners - there is a very convenient woodland area with a circular (ish) path just to the rear of the property. The property comfortably accomodated 6 adults. Also, thank you to Paula and Keith for the homemade cake and fresh milk on arrival - nice touch :)

No pub within (safe illuminated) walking distance but we knew this in advance . There are 2 or 3 very good pubs within a 10 minute drive. Clearly the pub issue is in no way the fault of the owners - this comment is for future visitors for information only.
