Deerewood Cottage

Good location. Brilliant layout, top floor was a double bedroom and en-suite. Ground floor was living room, small kitchen. Off the living room are two bedrooms and a bathroom. Lovely walks through the forest land that belonged to the property. Laundry facilities also available on site. Local guides and games came with the property.

WiFi was poor and only usable for social media and not streaming Netflix. However a library of DVD titles are available.

Spacious, clean, lovely comfortable beds, great open space and woods at the back. Accommodating helpful hosts, close to lots of lovely places to visit. Would recommend as a lovely place to stay with family.

Beautiful location, with woods at the rear, great for dogs

This is a great value place to stay if you want proper cover and not a tent! It was cabin-like but had all the necessary amenities. We are a family of 5, and we had just about enough space for a week, and there are some lovely areas around the cottage to walk in the pine forest which opens up into the Norfolk countryside. Only 10 minutes to Cromer, and Great Yarmouth is about an hour, so pretty good location. The hosts were great and the property and grounds were well maintained and easy to navigate. Overall, a great stay and will be sure to come again!

Had a family holiday at Deerewood Cottage and it was ideal for our stay. The property is set in beautiful surroundings, was clean, tidy and well maintained. On arrival there was tea, coffee, milk and a homemade cake - a lovely touch. The hosts were fantastic - kept us updated leading up to check in, answered any queries we had straight away and always found time to stop and chat to guests staying at the site. Perfect location to get around the nearby towns and coastal regions in Norfolk. The cottage had lots of leaflets and guides about local attractions/things to do which was very helpful. Would highly recommend.
