Nothing not to not like

Fantastic position close to town. Nice style. Comfortable. Nice little touches.

The shower is not in a great position and you lose all hot water if you have a bath. Neighbours property having work done on it so LOTS of drilling noises on a Saturday all day till about 5pm.

The cottage was well furnished and it looked like someone had taken a lot of care choosing nice decor and ornaments. If you like tv on holiday there was a flat screen tv in every room. The cottage was very close to shops and amenities in Barnard Castle and also the Bowes Museum. Kitchen was well equipped.

I didn't think the property was family friendly. The bedroom you would use for a child was on the 3rd floor and had an approximately 11 foot straight drop from the balustrade. Ended up sleeping in the living room as the bed and sofa bed in this room was too uncomfortable for my husband and I.

Good location for where we wanted to be. Within walking distance of most places. The place was clean and lots of little things to be welcoming and dog really enjoyed the jar of treats. Although we didn’t use things there was plenty coffee pods, teabags and other stuff which is not always the case in holiday properties

Had not realised it was on 3 levels and I should have checked first but we really needed a disabled parking place and a walk in shower.

The location was excellent, the property was fabulous with all the amenities we needed and more.
