Maltings Cottage

Everything, we live in a cottage, so it was definitely home from home for us. Very quirky, absolutely wonderful and so homely and comfortable. The history of the cottage was very interesting

We really loved everything about the cottage - just needed a black out blind in the main bedroom.

Perfect location, close to lots of interesting things to do. A public car park opposite that was very cheap.

Location for town centre and visiting family.

Unexpectedly very busy & noisy road in Newgate. No secure area for our dog.

The cottage is in a great location, with parking right over the road. Upon entering we were impressed with how clean and inviting the cottage was. The beds were comfortable

There were only 3 mugs and 4 people staying. We did intend to go out and buy a mug but didn’t get time in the end. The noise from the road was very loud, however we live in rural Dorset and are used to silence at night so it may be normal for 99% of the population. The shower entrance would not be suitable for everyone. I held on for dear life when exiting the bath/shower as it’s likely to be very painful if you fall.

Beautiful cottage, excellent location. No complaints, will definitely be rebooking in the future.
