We really liked the location, the comfy beds, the space - lots of room for 7 of us and the open plan living room kitchen.

The property was comfortable, warm and cosy. It was incredibly well equipped, lovely fire for a winter break and very good wifi. The beds were comfortable and the house felt like a home from home. The hosts were extremely helpful and welcoming. Would highly recommend this property. Also, Barnard Castle itself is a lovely market town, lots of lovely cafes and pubs, lots do in the surrounding area and it was lovely and festive in the town for Christmas/new year celebrations with beautiful trees and beautifully decorated shops.

The property was wonderful. Spacious, clean, and homely. It was clean and very well stocked with everything you need for a self catering stay. Beds were comfortable and everything was just so easy. The host was super responsive and looked after us making sure that we would have a fantastic stay.

Milk and wine missing-and watch out for macerator noise at night if sleeping in single bedroom-the only things to grumble about (And I always try to find something!)

Great location - easy to walk to the high street/restaurants or to lovely walks in the woods and fields. House is easy to stay in and very comfortable. The host is also very welcoming and accommodating. Highly recommend.
