Cosy cottage in great location

Property was lovely. Couldn’t ask for more. Everything you could possibly need, really lovely house. Very cosy. You will love it!

Property was fantastic. Location is pretty, small Co-op is handy. Pub over the roads food isn’t great, but there’s a nicer one over the water. There is a noisy builder located in a lock up over the road. Parking is ok, as long as a traffic warden doesn’t come.

Lovely little cottage in the gorgeous village of Newton Ferrers. Great place for a family or group of friends and dog friendly too. The living room and kitchen in particular were very comfy and well equipped. We also loved the window seats in the bedrooms. Just over the road from the pub and just down the hill from the convenient shops. Lots of walks from the doorstep. The WiFi was excellent.

The parking was a bit tricky as we never seemed to get any of the close parking spaces so had to park up the road past the Co-op. We were coming and going so this was a bit annoying. There was a power cut whilst we were there so I would suggest having a convenient torch for guests use just in case!

Spacious, well equipped very comfortable cottage in a fantastic location. Lovely when the sun streamed into the lounge. Charming location and friendly people.

Some of the doors upstairs rattled at night despite windows being shut (maybe it was quite windy when we stayed).

Extremely well equipped and immaculately clean. Comfy double bed, with lovely fluffy duvet. We loved that there were items in the cupboards to use like sauces and spices and also ice cubes in the fridge. There were dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, cloths, Teatowels, coffee machine with real beans. Lovely building, very homely. Pretty village and lovely views of the creek. Nice walks in the area. Very handy co-op chemist and post-office /shop within a few metres and a lovely deli at the top of the hill. Great little seat out the front of the property to watch the world go by.

Very noisy location. People from the local pub shouting and talking very loudly walking past the property, right up to 1:30am every night including some locals racing the beach buggy up and down the hill. Then noisy again from 7:30am with lorries, vans, cars & people. Unfortunately didn't get one good night's sleep 😞 Tricky to get a parking space nearby. Fine for us as we're relatively fit but not good if you have mobility issues or struggle walking up steep hills. Properly wise, the only negatives are that the lounge was very hot, due to the glass windows on the roof and no blinds on them. The kitchen ceiling was very low. Only thing missing equipment wise was a clothes airer for drying clothes as the weather was too hot to have the tumble dryer on.

Downstairs kitchen and living room were particularly great.

Television very complicated as programmes had to run through Sky, which we were not used to. Would have been nice to just turn on the main terrestrial channels.

The Cottage is in a perfect location - beautifully set out with everything you could wish for. The kitchen had so many appliances and utensils available it really was home from home. There were also cupboard / fridge items too which was so thoughtful Clean, tidy and very spacious The hosts were fantastic at communication when asking any questions and even let us have access earlier in the day which was a real bonus Would happily come back - loved it

There was nothing not to like !
