Beatiful view from balcony. Right on the beach.

Very clean apartment and building, with a large balcony, and a fantastic location right next to the beach. Supermarkets, cafés, bars, and restaurants were very close - basically, we just had to step out of the apartment. I enjoyed the noise from the street, but I can imagine that during the peak summer period, it might be disturbing. Finding a parking place in Italy is never easy, but we were lucky this time and we could always find a free parking slot in the street. I was with my 14- and 11-year-old teens, and we loved the patisserie under our apartment and the proximity to the sea. Isabella, the host was super-helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. She even provided some beach toys for the kids. Although she didn’t speak English, it wasn’t a barrier - we used Google Translate with ease. We were there in October, but we could still enjoy the sunshine and the beach, which was very nice and clean, and the water was crystal-clear. I would definitely book it again!

Using the shower was challenging. Sometimes, the entire bathroom flood, including the toilet area. This was the only weak part of the apartment. The pillows were hard a bit.

location and cleanliness

Needed more adaptable utensils - for example only two large pots rather than a small one plus others. Addition of kitchen scissors. I found a kettle packed away which made tea making easier. Pillows were very hard.

The apartment was very nice and comfortable. Location of apartment was amazing - downstairs many restaurants and public beach spot was just few steps away. As our trip was based on finding beach we could swim each day, this was the best choice. Hostess was very helpful - sent us possible places to leave car, asked if we are ok and don't need extra towels or anything else.

Small remark - we would liked if there would be a bit more dishes/tableware - bowls to eat breakfast flakes with milk or mix eggs for omelet, more kitchen tools (e.g. wooden spatula). Otherwise everything else was perfect.

Mattress, they need to be changed.

The location was great. The restaurants in the area where very good. It had all the ammeditis, iron, ironing board, wash machine and drying rack. The area was pretty quiet at night. The balcony was nice. And the beaches where super. There is a grocery store near by. And the bus stop is 5 min walk.

The room needed some attention. The shower head didn't adjust when rotated. The lighter for the stove was empty. The beds where more than firm actually hard. The spare bed and couch we found uncomfortable.

We enjoyed our stay very much! The studio, including the balcony is larger than we had expected. Otherwise everything is pretty much like on the pictures: the interior is fairly old but everything works. The bed is large and on the harder end. The kitchen is not very well equipped, keep that in mind if you want to prepare your meals. There were extra sheets and towels which we found very comfortable. The view from the balcony is simply unbeatable and would alone be worth to stay here. As the building is on the main beach avenue I was afraid that it could get noisy at night, but with closed doors that wasn't an issue at all (and AC worked well). However, the walls are thin, so if you have noisy neighbours that could be disturbing. Both the owner and the housekeeper, Giovanna are extremly nice and helpful. Upon arrival we were welcomed with some water/juice in the fridge and a basket of sweet bread and spreads, which was a really nice touch. We would love to return some day!

Two things I have to mention: The shower head was old and half of it did not work, it should be changed. Also the pillows are too old and flat, investing in new ones would be a good idea. Luckily there were two extra pillows so sleeping with two each helped.

Excellent location on the beach, big rooms with all amenities. We had a room with a sea view which has a big balcony with an awsome view to the sea, the promenade and Taormina.

Thin walls, you can really hear the people in the neighbouring rooms. Not a huge problem for us, but worths mentioning in case you care about it.
