Modern furniture, nice pool, friendly host...

It is a little annoying to inform the host of arrival and departure to the pool. Cooking utensils are lacking. There was no air conditioning in the kitchen and living room, only a fan.

The host was nice

No phonic insulation, we could hear the landlord in the same building and the street. Pool and barbecue are shared. Lack of attention to details.

Good, quiet location not too far from the airport by car and pretty central to the island. Free off-street parking. Spacious and modern appartment. Very clean. Good Wifi. Good water pressure. Kitchen had all the usual items. Host very responsive and knowledgeable. Communication in English no problem.

The property is a bit humid, which seems to be normal on the island. A dehumidifier was provided. Using google maps for navigation doesn't seem to work and led me to a wrong place first. Better use the directions provided by the host. There are not many, well stocked supermarkets in the area. Better go to Ponta Delgada for shopping.

Ideal place for family as a base to discover whole island if you have car. There are several rooms upstairs for sleeping and livingroom with kitchen at lower floor. Owners are very friendly and helpfull. They will suggest good places and times to go and in the accomodation they have file with interesting places to see and do - its quite extensive and they have it in English, Portugues and French. They have two dogs and ferret, however, if you stay at your part of house you do not meet them. There is a nice swimming pool available. If you like nature, you are surrounded by it. If you are more city person, in the morning you will be awakened by roosters calling their flocks and if weather is windy, during night you will feel like on a you will feel like you are on a three-mast on a stormy sea, yet it is lovely and natural noice.

Only negative for this place is small step between kitchen and living room (aproximately 3-4 cm) which makes it adventurous during night when you go for bathroom, but after one or two days you get used to it.

The house was very well located in the middle of the island, close to all the tourist places. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fully equipped. The responsiveness and help from the hosts was amazing. Casa Vereda was a key part of a wonderful trip in Sao Miguel.

The place was clean and we loved the rural location. The host provided us with beach towels and a sun umbrella for when we needed. Very friendly hosts and we absolutely loved our stay. We will definitely be back!

The only thing we were missing were wine glasses in the kitchen. Not a big deal.
