Maison qui manque d'entretien. Porte d'un meuble de la cuisine non fixée, pas de lumière dans la salle de bain , robinet de l'évier sdb mal fixé , serrure défectueuse . Et le pire est que le propriétaire veut nous faire porter la responsabilité de certains de ces points .

The cleanliness outside the building was bad with a bucket of cigarette butts in full view and building rubbish from previous repairs. Inside was very bad , we didn’t actually stay at the property , went to a local Premier Inn. The hosts have a lot to learn . The general cleanliness was dire all round , kitchen bin lids not able to shut, boiler housing not fixed in place, no covers on the cooker hood. No working smoke alarms , stair lighting doesn’t work , no adequate bedding on any of the beds ,curtain rods barely hanging on the wall in the main bedroom , the roller blind in the small bedroom literary screwed to the wall , building in poor repair , big piece of tile from bathroom doorway missing leaving sharp edges . Dirty surfaces all round. I personally would not have slept in any of the beds or allowed my kin to. The standards are very low and I would not recommend this property to anyone. After a four hour from north devon I was looking forward to a clean & comfortable bed so after the stress of this I booked us all into the local Premier Inn and we left the property secured and phoned the host to say we were not staying . They didn’t even seemed surprised so I’m guessing they had a few complaints before us. I read a couple of reviews and obviously the first 3/4 were what they wanted us to read .. on checking again after we left we read a few horror stories …. Lesson learn’t … premier inn for me from now on … at least you know what you are going to get from a premier inn. The property was actually a 30 minute walk to the venue ,we were hoping to walk too had we stayed and not the 10/15 minute we were advised by the host … up hill coming back . All in all I wouldn’t recommend this property at all .
