Beautiful surroundings. Loved the farm animals at the garden wall! Hot tub was fantastic, and a lovely spacious living room with big comfy sofas.

I was part of a group of 4 ladies. Very nice location, cottage was lovely, quite spacious & clean. Views were to die for & the sheep & chickens were an added bonus. Comfortable & cosy when we eventually managed to get the wood burner working. Not the hosts fault I have to say but our own for not opening the air intake vent correctly. A lovely place to stay in beautiful countryside. Bath & shower room & 3 toilets which was great & outside seating in the garden with the hot tub was lovely. Overall a really nice place

The shower cubicle was very slippery & does not have a non-slip mat so unfortunately I slipped onto the floor & couldn’t get up again without help. This could have been avoided had the base of the shower been ridged or a mat supplied. Perhaps the owner could supply one for future users!!! Although the cottage was lovely & warm when the heating came on during the day it was chilly without the wood burner & we had no way to boost the heating when necessary without lighting the wood burner. We also had no contact from the owners after trying to contact them on our arrival as unable to turn the oven on! We managed eventually but heard nothing at all from them during the entire weekend. The first time we saw her was the morning we left & she only gave us a quick hello & didn’t even ask if we’d had a good time & if everything had been ok. I really think there needs to be a bit more communication from them towards their visitors as this adds to the enjoyment of your stay & makes you feel welcome!!!!!

Beautiful stay, everything was perfect. Our little girl really enjoyed the Easter break here.

The cottage was very well equipped with everything that you would need. The hot tub is lovely and in a wonderful position as it overlooks the country side.

Beautiful place we got snowed in, which added to the experience. I stupidly ventured out to the local shops in the car and got stuck in the snow. Thank you to Henry and his lads for getting me unstuck and on my way.

We would love to go back, but the prices are increasing to an extent that it would be cheaper to go abroad for a short break which is a shame.

Amazing cottage, very cosy, has everything you need. Hosts were very accommodating and communication was good. Kind food gifts on arrival, fire inside and out and lots of logs, hot tub was lovely, friendly chickens. Wifi good, 3 toilets was good. TVs in bedrooms and bath robes appreciated. Love all the wood features in the property Shortcut to Rosedale Abbey, lovely pub n tea shop nearby. X

The single beds were not good, uncomfortable. Could do with a shower over the bath in the en-suite. Wasn’t enough hot water for 4 consecutive showers. Didn’t spoil the stay though.

The location and homely feel was just absolutely wonderful.

The two single beds feel like the need replacing. Very uncomfortable and big dents in the centre. Unexpected as the house is so highly done. Also soap at every sink not just in the upstairs bathroom. And lastly the booking. You said it was double booked when we first booked through booking.com to then say it was only available through Air BnB to then find it had put back on booking.com at a higher price. We would have appreciated a more honest approach as we felt the place was worth the money if you had just said it had been mis priced. It was a lovely stay overall.
