Oak house

We loved the space provided and we were very pleased and did not feel misled at all. We also really appreciated the extra touches such as leaving milk in the fridge for us when we got there. This is the perfect place to relax and enjoy time away, with this we definitely will book up here again!

We can't say anything negative to be honest without nitpicking for the sake of it.

We go to Pickering a few times a year, it’s our favourite place and we usually stay at the same cabin but this time we thought we’d try somewhere new with our baby. We definitely have a new favourite, it is by far the nicest place we have stayed in. The value for money is amazing. Such a gorgeous view from the hot tub and the house itself is lovely and spacious. Perfect for a family get away, we will definitely be returning!

The cottage was lovely with amazing views and excellent facilities like a log burning fire and a cozy, clean and spacious rooms. The main bedroom had an enormous comfy bed and an en-suite.

This is not a criticism, it is only my opinion but, for me the single beds felt small and the pillows weren’t the best

Sitting in the jacuzzi on an evening with complete silence around except for the trickle of the little steam was very relaxing, the view morning, noon and night was incredible, watching the weather roll in of the hill sides and at night the cars driving down from what seems like the sky was amazing, The bed was very comfortable and the house was very cosy and warm, a nice balance of old and new, a very good 2 nights i would strongly reccomend for a quite relaxing get away.

The road to the cottage wasn't the best. If your car has low profile tyres or low ground clearance, you would need to go very carefully. I understand it's a working farm, but the pot holes on entrance and leading to the cottage are quite nasty, but that shouldn't put you off booking its well worth the bumpy ride.

Great location and well equipped cottage

Weekend spoilt by the host who was rude and aggressive on Saturday morning as we unknowingly had turned off the Internet for farm and cottages ! We did not see sign on double socket for lamp and Internet! No info on this anywhere to alert us. But this was not dealt in a professional manner and I was very upset. This accommodation is not 5* Microwave needs replacing Curtains in twin room need securing We regularly use holiday cottages and location lovely we would not return

Beautiful location overlooking the Moors and within reach of the stunning quaint village. Lovely cottage and the hot tub was great.

There were no fans in the cottage and it was hot, so very much needed in the bedrooms. The footpath from the cottages to the village are overgrown. Got stung lots of times.

Secluded location but still within walking distance to a shop and restaurant, hot tub, having access to the paddock, lovely welcome hamper, comfortable and clean.

More of a personal touch adding to the property to make it feel more homely. More utensils needed in the kitchen along with kitchen basics. Bigger BBQ needed. Broken unit in living room needs fixing. Hot tub is overlooked by neighbours, so could do with more privacy adding.
