Contemporary Cottage outside South Harting

Perfect property, beautiful views, friendly host, I have traveled to the area to visit family several times a year for decades and this has recently and quickly become my favorite place to stay.

A brilliant cottage, beautifully appointed to a very high standard. Jackie was very friendly and welcoming. Great location in a peaceful setting, perfect for couples, smaller families who want a quiet getaway on the edge of the gorgeous Sussex Downs

Stunning location, lovely lake nearby with wildlife and a cafe/play area. Supermarket was a short drive. The accommodation was spotless, and so peaceful. All amenities included, including can openers and a cheese grater -always a bonus! Lovely host, easy to contact. Would stay again!

I cant think of a single thing! It was perfect for us as a family of 3.

The cottage was stunning. The location was perfect for us - super quiet and peaceful with a beautiful view. The cottage itself was immaculate and had absolutely everything we needed. The bed was the comfiest bed we have ever slept in away from home and it was enormous. Everything was easy to use. Loved the hose to use on the dog's muddy paws outside the front door and the doggie treats as a welcome gift went down a treat!

If I had to pick something, which is quite difficult, I'd say the sofa. I know it's a sofa bed but we didn't find it greatly comfortable. As someone with arthritis and being quite tall, I found it hard to get up out of the sofa as it's gotten very low and sunken so my knees were higher than my seat.

Lovely peaceful location towards the end of a long tarmac track. Pleasant views of the downs from the cottage lounge area. Property was beautifully clean & well equipped, ideal for us as a couple. Two sets of French doors opening to a patio area with table & chairs which would be great in the better weather. Comfortable bed, good shower, loads of storage space, large fridge/freezer & everything you need in the kitchen. The milk & biscuits along with a range of teas & coffee were appreciated on arrival. Property also had a washing machine & tumble dryer should you need it. Helpful hosts who are available if required but not at all intrusive. We very much enjoyed our stay & we have already booked a return visit.

Very comfortable and clean cottage, had everything we needed for a weekend away. Easy access to the South Downs way for lovely walks. The host was very accommodating, friendly and great communication. Would recommend this cottage to all and would happily book again :)

There was absolutely nothing to complain about!

What a fabulous place, perfect destination on the South Downs, easy to get to the shops, walks straight out of the front door. Super comfortable and had literally everything you needed. Very well kitted out and Jackie was very attentive. Thank you, hopefully we will be back!!
