Terrific seaside view, a lot of space (we were there as a family of 2+3), a big balcony and a spacious patio. We really felt comfortable and did not miss anything that's required for a weekly stay. Definitely recommended!

The house is located on an uphill road with no sidewalk, so getting anywhere on foot with the kids - even to the nearest shop or bar - is a bit of a gamble (considering cars passing by quite fast).

You have whole house for yourself. With big backyard and nice balcony with the sea/sunset view. Amazing!

It's getting old and used and there is apparently a lack of maintenance. The ceiling in the bedroom is moldy. The frying pan had scratched nonstick surface therefore possessing cancer hazard (Teflon particles released to the body may cause cancer). The barbecue grill is almost unusable.

Very convenient location, provided you have a rental car. There is a lot of space inside and also in the patio and you have everything you might need for the stay, including lots of toiletries, cutlery, a Nescafe coffee machine, lines to hang your clothes to dry. Never met the owner but communication through Booking was very smooth. Great value for the money!

Although some may find the lingering scent of an old house off-putting, for us, it wasn't a problem. Just thought I'd mention it for those who are more sensitive to these things

We had a wonderful stay at this house! It offered great value for money, was incredibly spacious, and very clean. The view from the property was beautiful, especially during sunset. The host was exceptionally friendly, ensuring a smooth experience from check-in to check-out. The only drawback was that it was a bit chilly inside the house since we were there in January, and the electric heater provided struggled to warm the space. Despite this, everything else was perfect, making it a great stay overall.

Very nice house, with all facilities for extended family stay. Large patio with table tennis and billard table, kids had a lot of fun playing it in the evenings. Couple of supermarkets in the area, close to multiple trekking routes and beach in Calheta.

The accommodation was comfortable and well located if you want to explore the western part of the island. The double bed was small for us, but there was a bed in the other room and we were comfortable. The view was beautiful. The inside garden with barbecue was super for having breakfast. The wifi was perfect.

Noise from the street when coming a car. No toiletries (shower gel and shampoo), only a little liquid soap (enough for one day).
