Nothing. Perfect flat in a perfect location.

The location of this flat is excellent, right near the centre of the very attractive small town of Stow-on-the-Wold, which is quiet at night after the day trippers have left! It's above a tiny shopping unit (including clothes shop and café) that closes late afternoon, so no noise. Keys easily obtained from a lock box at the entrance to the shop unit, you have to lock the gates to the unit when you go out at night, but we found it no problem at all. Parking in the centre of Stow for 2 hours. We parked all night on the street in front of the next door pub (but we did have a small car). Spacious flat, it had everything we needed for a few days of self-catering, including a lovely bottle of wine left for us from the owner Alex. The seating area, dining table and kitchen space were open-plan, but very functional. Skylight windows to open when it was warm. Bathroom up a couple of steps from the bedroom, good big shower, loo and washbasin. Bedroom had a wardrobe with hangers and towel rail, and a cupboard with hair dryer, ironing board and iron and hoover. We loved this flat, and would not hesitate to recommend it to others, we were glad to have discovered it.

The only thing to mention is the flat is entered from the outside up a 12-stair iron staircase, care needs to be taken, but it was fine. It was a bit hard for 6ft 2in man to shave in the bathroom, but he managed! (His own fault for having tall parents...)

Very comfortable flat, perfectly located, incredible host full of tips and clear information. The best base for a holiday in the Cotswolds one could ask for!
