Casa Baldovinos

The property of the house was in a quiet road but very central for all of the old town of Palma. Close to restaurants, bars, Cathedral and marina. It has a lovely sunny roof terrace and internal courtyard. Tastefully decorated and well equipped kitchen.

it was not a problem for us but there are lots of stairs which may be tricky for very old or very young.

This is not a house - this is a piece of art :) This place has unique atmosphere and soul. Beautiful and very clean apartment with magic paintings of Baldovinos, glass stairs and two terraces (from the roof terrace you can see the Cathedral or youth football matches during morning joga sessions or coffee break). The Host, Mrs Sara (also painter) is very helpful, I felt like anytime I can contact and ask if anything needed. We got on whatsapp clear instructions of using the house and the code to the box with keys. We did not have a car (great localization, you can go anywhere on foot) but please remember to check parking places because the localization is in the Centre of Palma. There was a possibility to check in earlier and after check out we could leave our luggage in special place as we had still few hours to the plain departure. Big kitchen with full equipment (even spices in the cupboard). Two bathrooms with hair dryer and cosmetics. Three bedrooms (one master), very clean, cosy, comfortable. TV with Netflix. It was a real pleasure to stay in Catany - Casa familiar and we will be back there for sure :)

What a terrific house in the center of Mallorca; ideal location on the edge of old city, but also close to Santa Catalina and everything else. Plus, you are actually staying in Palma/Mallorca vs. a tourist area. Spacious, cleverly designed, super clean, with wonderful art, books, and all the amenities you could possibly need. The hostess is available, kind, and helpful. Parking super easy. One note if you have a crawling or climbing toddler: the stairs can be tricky for them and you have to watch out.

Nothing! Perfection

This 3 bed apartment massively exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect as you are 5 mins from the main shops but you have restaurants within a 1 min walk. The little street that the apartment is located on leaves you feeling like you’re stepping out into rustic Palma right from your doorstep. The area is super quiet too. The apartment was spotless and was very very well equipped (all utensils and even toiletries). There was an iron, hairdryers and a dishwasher. There was air con in each room- which was appreciated- and the two outside terraces were perfect. We made good use of these in the sun. Sara was an excellent host too and very responsive. The apartment felt like a home and the interior design was really thoughtful. We couldn’t have asked for more and it was such good value for money.

Nothing, we loved everything. The steps from the street to the front door of the apartment were very steep so could be problematic for anyone with mobility issues but it wasn’t an issue for us.
