"Beach Cottage was exactly what we wanted, a great place to relax on the edge of the beach."

The location is amazing! Comfortable and clean, had everything we needed, a hamper with bread, biscuits , crisps and marmalade. In the fridge milk and butter. Fresh coffee was also supplied.

A cosy property, perfect for an autumn break by the sea. We loved watching the waves rolling in whilst we were nice and warm on the couch! The facilities were clean, tidy and modern whilst having a very homely feel. We instantly felt relaxed and at home in the property and enjoyed cooking a Sunday roast in the kitchen which was kitted out well to do so. The property is in an ideal position to visit the beautiful surrounding areas - Berwick is a great spot for evening meals and a couple of drinks, or a stroll along the town walls with lovely sea views. We also visited Holy Island, Cocklawburn beach, Bamburgh and Beadnell Bay which are local gems not to be missed. The property is ideally situated for a day trip to Edinburgh via train from Berwick upon Tweed. Allison was a great host - kind and helpful and I can’t thank her enough. We’ve had a lovely autumn break and hope to be back again in the near future.

Beach Cottage is in an ideal position at Spittal Beach right on the sea front. It is clean, well equipped, spacious and a lovely outside sitting area to enjoy watching the sea from. A perfect place to stay with nice walks on the doorstep.

"Beach Cottage is simply perfect."

The location of Beach Cottage was fantastic, the size of the cottage was perfect, it was clean, well equipped and had every amenity that anyone would need. The beach is literally 15 seconds walk away, and a really superb childrens play area with splash park is less than a minutes walk away. Communication with the owners was regular and were available by phone if needed. The welcome box on arrival just enhanced the overall perfect stay and we will definitely be back.

There was nothing to dislike.
