"Beautiful short stay."

Had most of the things needed for a short stay, is set in beautiful surroundings. The staff were helpful. It has a very comfortable and clean bed for a good nights sleep.

Unfortunately the heating wasn’t working, a member of staff at did come and get it started when we arrived but it stopped working again and the barn was really cold. The door hasn’t got a blind on it so once the sun comes up it wakes you up. Overall the place needs a little TLC and a deep clean.

Excellent location, the Gate House Barn was such a surprise, excellent, and the Peacocks just topped a brilliant weekend off a treat, thanks guys.

Shower was a bit of a battle to get working right, but certainly didn't affect our stay, minor detail.

"Lovely, quiet area!"

The barn/cabin was very spacious with a beautiful view outside the window! The rooms were updated and kitchen was equipped with dishes, pots, pans, glasses. Reception is friendly and helpful. The farm is delightful and in a great area within the speak District. There are a couple pubs within walking distance.

The cell reception in the area is almost non existent so using sat nav was a bit challenging at times. There’s no information about wifi in the room, so I had to go back to reception where they gave me the password.
