location and the staff

I think we were the first people to stay in the barn after the winter. As there wasn’t constant running water throughout the winter the drains were stagnant which made the property smell for the majority of our 2 night stay.

Our stay was lovely. The grounds & barn were beautiful. We wanted to bring our bikes.fpr the weekend to cycle round the Derbyshire Dales. The barn allowed us to do that, we were able to store the bikes inside after cleaning them outside with ease of the outdoor tap. Walking distance to 2 local pubs who both do food but the barn has everything you could need for a self catering weekend too. Would definitely return in the future.

Really quiet. Clean. Tranquil

I forgot my hair dryer. There isn't one in the accommodation. However I did use one provided in the camping shower block. Not a negative in any way.

lovely location in its own little oasis surrounded by open fields though tucked away in the old farm and secluded from the campsite area. the on-site log fire oven pizzas are great and the horse box bar is a great addition. Staff are very helpful
