Woodside Hot Tub Retreat

The location is great and way habe stayed on this site before in another caravan,this is one of the reasons we decided to come back with having dogs ,great walks and near amble,alnwick etc.

Facilities not great,no WiFi and tv aerial didn't work ,so kids couldn't stream when we weren't doing anything. Contacted owners but nothing sorted. We ran out of gas as the heating had been left on from previous guests. Had to go all evening and night cold as couldn't get new gas till 9am next day. The main fire didnt work neither. We were also told by security had we been informed no electric on our last full day as national power grid do work from 9 /3pm. We hadn't been told when booking and certainly would of cancelled our booking as we did book for 3 nights not 2! We left a day early cause of this. Kids beds not comfortable,nit suitable for 6 people,only four chairs at the table. Not enough cutlery for 6 people. Sofa uncortable aswell. Headboard in main bedroom covered in dust. Fridge not working properly and was on max temp. Stayed in way better places and for less than we paid for this.

Bin wouldn't open, (electric) you had to slide finger under the lid, very unhygienic. Mismatch of glasses 3 wine glasses for 6 people, a few mismatch tumblers. Mismatch of plates yes there was enough for everyone but all different. Only 4 forks, really and not one was the same. Breakfast, oh, we only have 4 bowls what on earth,simple things that spoil a holiday. The throws on the couch they really need to be washed didn't smell good. Cushions for the outdoor furniture absolutely filthy.

Huge hot tub, bonus for the umbrella above it that meant we could use it in the rain!

4 seats at the dining table when the property accommodates 6. Not much room to move about and not much storage space.

Great location, comfy bed and lovely hot tub. Situated beside the walkway to the golf club and dog walking area, so nice and handy for both.

Everything was good apart from some cleanliness issues with kitchen area mostly. However, owner offered to come and sort this so I'm happy with response received and I'm sure this will all be rectified for future guests.

We really enjoyed our stay at woodside Retreat it was clean tidy and had everything you needed. Owners repled fast to any questions. Easy check-in .The site is lovely and peaceful. We didn't have a car so one thing id say is to make sure you take anything you need as there wasn't a shop on site .hot tub was nice and my kids really enjoyed it .the little pub is nice and serves nice food .we had a lovely time and I would recommend it and return. Thank you 😊

Property was well presented, everything easy to find. Beds were comfy

Loved our three days break would definitely comeback it was comfortable & relaxing loved the hot tub & privacy it was lovely & clean & staff on site were lovely friendly.

Can honestly say nothing it was perfect can't wait to return.

Lovely location and lodge. Loved the hot tub too. Was a perfect base for us and the things we had planned to do.

Wish the garden area was enclosed so it was safer for the dog.
