Woodside Hot Tub Retreat

No lights round hot tub, electric kept tripping, fire kept going off, single bed, springs coming through, only 4 forks, shower did not drain away, no outside lighting, very dangerous on steps.

Lovely clean caravan,nice and warm,with hot water,nice big sight close to coast,we had 2 little issues that were corrected very promptly

There was a lot of tree cutting and mud and tractors right next to us,it was a bit unsightly,but didn't bother us too much,as we couldn't see this from the caravan or the hot tub(which was fab)

Didn't realise the bar and mini market was closed so did have to drive to a shop

this property was amazing! all facilities were exceptional and we had a great weekend

Location good, lots of linens and pots and pans

Within an hour arrival electrics went off. There was a booklet that advised how to put these back on, after a very muddy walk they switched back on from an external point. An hour later the electrics went back off. After getting the children to sleep, with coats and dressing gowns to keep them warm as the place was frozen, we received three different knocks at the door after midnight asking us to move. With two kids finally asleep we declined. The electrics came on around 11 hours later. We went out for day, came home around 7pm stuck a pizza in over and kids jumped in hot tub. They quickly jumped out as was freezing. We messaged and was told to turn heat up on it. Didn’t work. The pizza took an hour to cook. When we stated what had happened we were advised this was not their fault and as a small business they have costs to absorb. Pretty poor all round. Anyone booked please be aware of this issue with electrics and the owners lack of ownership when receiving valid feedback.

Nice location, comfortable beds, grounds lovely. Nice stay here we explored with the dogs. Was nice and clean. It is on the small side but that didn't bother us. Nice easy access and hot tub was enjoyed by all.

WiFi was bad but we did speak to the host about this who was looking into it but we only reported it on our last night.

Great location and a good price per person. Staff responded quickly to the issue we reported (no temperature markings on the oven), and although they weren't able to offer a solution we felt safe using, they were as helpful as they could have been given the circumstances. Hot tub was absolutely marvellous to relax in, especially given the amount of walking that we did every day! Shower had great power and temperature, and all seven of us were able to get individual showers without the hot water running out.

A couple of things were below the standard we'd expected, even paying such a low price. The cushions on the outdoor furniture had been left out in the rain long enough that some were slightly mouldy, the release lever on the door latch was broken so we had to scrabble around for the remaining nub of plastic any time we needed to close the door, the lock on the bathroom door was damaged (missing the cover on the inside), there was no parasol over the tub like in the pictures (not really an issue, as we just used umbrellas when it rained), the oven door didn't close properly and the oven dials didn't have any temperature markings so we couldn't safely cook some food and had to alter our catering plans accordingly. The one night we did use the oven coincided with someone changing the outdoor gas cannister - whoever did it didn't let us know it was happening, so the pilot light went out and we ended up pumping gas into the living area until someone noticed it.

Hot tub was lush

It was quite dirty , the whole setee was not nice. I enjoyed myself, but for that kind of money I could get better
