Woodside Hot Tub Retreat

The property was in a good location close to sea side locations and on a nice caravan site. The property was generally clean on arrival - apart from the sofas which need a good clean / replacement cover with stains.

The caravan had very small bedrooms and wouldn’t be suitable for 6 adults / would be very tight. We stayed 3 nights and on the 3rd late afternoon / early evening the gas went off so we were unable to use the hot water to shower or use the cooker and the hot tub so we were unable to shower the 2 children who had been in the sea and had to go out for dinner. The lady that looks after the property tried to resolve this but the site office was closed - we were not offered any form of refund for having no showering / cooking facilities / hot tub for 1 night out of the 3 nights stay so not very good value for money for the 3rd night especially. We were offered a late check out but the gas didn’t arrive in the morning as promised either so we just left. The gas should have been monitored more closely prior to our stay to prevent this.

Bedrooms are small with little space . No shower soap or dishcloths

Outside space had lots of dead leaves when we moved the furniture in June!.. we were there 3 night only one towel each left out for us.. and non for the hot tub if you offer this as a plus should have towels for it supplied...also said take your won rubbish bag yo main bins..if we are paying more that £150 a night we would not expect to do the cleaning for you..the hoover was left out so we could use it but it was half full didn't look good...couch quite stained..nice enough place.. overpriced you can stay in a hotel for that kind of money..no wash bowl to do dishes..quite bit noise as on the corner of through road for golf course and pub..

We loved staying at the Woodside Hot Tub Retreat! The host was quick to respond with instructions of how to access the property and available to answer any questions. The property itself was clean, spacious and had everything needed for a self catering stay! The best part was of course the hot tub outside, it’s private, quiet and great to relax in after spending the day out! Overall, great location, very clean, and the hot tub made it extra special! Thank you for having us, we’ll 100% be back!

We liked everything, no complaints!

Easy check in process.... welcoming accommodation... clean & tidy with a nice homely feel to it... sadly a mishap with the previous tenants meant 1 less bed, but owner communicated this to us straightaway & it didn't affect us as we only needed 1 double & 3 singles anyway. Hot tub is a lovely touch.... ... property is located down at the bottom of the park and is on the golf buggy route to the course & Bari Bar. On the whole, a good base for exploring - approx 30mins from Bamburgh & 1hr from Beamish

a bit of maintenance needed.... cooker knobs missing, bathroom door sometimes got stuck shut, a leak on the kitchen sink (all pretty minor & picky, I know, sorry 😒)

The park itself is amazing. Nice having cleaning products available. Hot tub was great and powerful. Microwave was great and toaster

Cupboards hadn't been emptied and cleaned. We had to bin mouldy bread, wraps, open crisps. There was a packet of peanuts in the cupboard. My son is allergic to them so that wasn't a hood find as he was very anxious. . Freezer was broken and leaking so we couldn't use it. The owner kindly offered to come and look at it the next day but we were out with the key. Missing a few key things, not enough wine / fizz glasses. Only 2 but sleeps 6. No brush and shovel for sweeping, there was a hoover but not charged so we couldn't use it. Very noisy location in the evening with people.coming back from the bar. Could do with a few hooks to hang towels up on the doors and bedroom and an airer would have been nice to hang wet things on after the hot tub.

Good value for money. Great location

Ash tray in garden area wasn’t emptied and outdoor area was a little bit messy. Inside was clean.
