Had a lovely weekend break kids loved the hot tub excellent location comfy beds will definitely be booked again soon

Perfect hot tub

Few minor jobs need doing to the accommodation to get it perfect

Nice lounge area, comfortable seating, good hot tub

Beds very uncomfortable Couldn’t get tv to connect No toilet brushes Outside lights not working by hot tub Blown bulb inside

The hottub was kept clean and was nice to relax in The location was great nice walks for the family and dogs

There was a blocked sink or pipe so the whole place smelt of sewage our whole holiday and it wasn't that clean on arrival. The BBQ wasn't cleaned from the last guests

Something that's advertised as luxury it definitely isn't. The hot tub was disgusting and the lodge as a whole was a bit grubby. The hot tub had a serious issue with flies, I'd scoop out loads every 10 mins. It wasn't just a few flies it was LOADS. Even when the cover was on they'd still try to get in it.

The decor and private garden area

Given the wrong code to get in had to get park warden to come and help wasted 2 hours trying to get in, no hot water fault on the boiler flashing red I had to read the instructions and reset it, beds were like actual bricks my partner had to sleep on the settee and I had to sleep with duvet double over underneath me to try and make it bearable, TV was pointless being there as it never worked once due to poor signal, should probably tell the cleaners not to sweep all the dirt under the rug and sofas I tried to move them out the way to let my 8 month old crawl around but once I seen all the grime there was no way I was letting him on that floor he had to spend the full stay in his walker or travel cot because it was so disgusting, no cleaning products to wash dishes with or clean toilet throughout stay. Hot tub filter was broken and full of tree, was full of tree before we even got in again example of really poor cleanliness. All in all we made the most of it and tried to go for days out as a family and enjoy our time but absolutely fuming with the standards of the lodge and can’t believe we paid so much money for this when we have stayed in lodges on the same site and other sites for way less with much better standards.
