"Superb"

It was out in the country but we found plenty to do by driving to Banff and Elgin on the coast.

"Fine for a short stay as a base"

Needs to be painted and sealant in showers needs redone as it has a lot of black mould.

"Peaceful location with great facilities, great place to stay"

The host was friendly, met them on arrival. The key was in the door waiting for us, it was a good location just a short drive into the nearest town. Although the house is set in a farm, there is no noise or commotion related to a farm, it was very peaceful. There were great facilities in the house, could walk around the farm, there were horses and cows in the fields next door.

Couldn't really fault the place, we enjoyed our time there. Maybe the bedrooms were a little small, but we'll be back next year, so can't be that bad!

"The stay was good"

Because it was a farm. Children had fun touching the animals.

We have booked the cottage for 4 adults. (2 families)We went with our kids (3 years, 3 years, 5 years, 5 years and 8 years) The next day the lady who look after the cottage asked us to pay extra £200 (booked the cottage for £240) for our children. As we didn't want to spoil our trip so we have paid the amount. But, when we checked the booking it has mentioned that all children are welcome and children over 15years should be charged as elders. Anyway we didn't get any extra facility for that extra charge. It was quite disappointing. Other than that we had a good stay there. The staff was friendly.

"Superb holiday cottages"

The cottage & area were beautiful & so tranquill with every facility to make it home from home. The landlord Bill was friendly with excellent communication & care who went above & beyond to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. We'll definitely be booking back here.

ONLY THIS ......Not being able to sit outside on the lovely front decking overlooking a fantastic view or the back furnished, enclosed & private courtyard, due to the cold & wet weather.
