Clean, well equipped, easy to get in touch with owner,

We booked this rental home knowing it was cheap but had good reviews stating that it was clean. Unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory. When we arrived, the house was dirty with spider webs, silverfish, and centipedes throughout. We immediately called the owner to report the poor cleaning conditions, and he assured us that he would send someone to address the issue. However, no one ever showed up, since nothing was changed and everything remained as it was before without any new cleaning. The washing machine was another major problem. It didn't work at all, and when we informed the owner, he accused us of not knowing how to use it. He even sent a video of a different machine to prove it worked. When he finally came to check it on the last day of our stay, he also couldn't get it to start. The inventory of the house was very outdated. The cutlery was incomplete, and there was no kettle available. Additionally, the bedding situation was unacceptable, with multiple cover sheets used instead of a proper sheet that fits the blanket. The house is situated right in front of train tracks, and the windows are single-pane glass with no noise-canceling capacity. The noise from the trains was constant and made it difficult to sleep or relax. Furthermore, the only smoke detector was not installed properly; it was simply placed on a shelf in the kitchen, which is not safe or compliant with safety standards. Another major issue was the electricity supply. It was not capable of supplying enough energy for the oven, a hair dryer, or an iron. This was extremely inconvenient and added to our frustration. Overall, this rental was far from satisfactory, and I cannot recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and clean place to stay.

The location is excellent - there is a shortcut and you can reach the center on foot. There is a Coop shop quite close. The apartment is very spacious, with a large balcony, great to have your morning coffee. The communication with the hosts was very good and they helped us with everything we needed. The private parking place is a bliss!

The kitchen could be improved (bring your own cutlery), you can cook only basic food. It was nice though to find coffee, sugar, salt, oil etc. The Moka coffee maker could be replaced, as it was leaking. We could not use the TV, but did not take the time to keep in touch with the owners to do something about it, as we were out most of the day.

Very friendly host of this apartment, great and easy going check in and check out. Comfortable and big apartment :) The host of the apartment was very helpful and understanding after we needed to check out a little bit later! Great cooperation! Thank you!

One little suggestion the kitchen didn’t have much cutlery. But it’s not a big issue as we are in Italy and the city Center had so many fantastic restaurants, that you don’t need to eat this much in the apartment ;)

The location was great. Easy access to the train station and a 10 minute walk into town. Several small supermarkets nearby. The people looking after the property were very quick to respond to a couple of things that needed sorting on arrival. So thank you. Also everything was spotlessly clean.

Although traditional the apartment could do with a refresh or just to put in a full set of crockery etc. we managed as it was only 2 of us.
