Kalogria Beach Apartments

It's near the beach. The beach itself is amazing! The apartment is alright for its money but don't expect too much. The owner is nice.

Enormous amount of mosquitos! We tried all inc service in the hotel - don't do it if you value good food 😀 Apartment is perfect for a couple, but I wouldn't go again with a small kid.

The property is 10 mins walk from a gorgeous sandy beach, suitable for families with young children. The property is spacious. There good options for dinner at walking distance. The owner allowed 4 adults an infant and a preschooler for 3 out of 7 nights, even though we had booked for 4 people.

Safety risks! The keys of the properties were stored in an open access cabinet just outside where anyone can walk through from the street. This property was priced at 160 per night for the high season when outside of those days it costs 51 euros. We were extremely overcharged for the quality of the apartment. Owners response was : “it is a supply and demand price adjustment.” If we knew the state of this place we would have not booked at this price. The outside space was neglected with rusty garden furniture, a big pile of dry branches from the garden, which poses a fire risk. Dry plants, chairs with bird poo and lots of random items. The furnishing very basic, very uncomfortable for a stay of 7 nights. The mattresses were uncomfortable and without protection covers (not hygienic), spring bed without top layer. Outside seating was 1 chair and 3 stools, inside there were 4 cheap chairs, plastic or foldable that were very uncomfortable, a tiny table not adequate space for 4 people to sit and eat, a small rusty cooker that, a small fridge without a working freezer. There was no cleaning done during our whole stay if 7 days even thought the policy says cleaning every 5 days or sooner with additional charge. We asked for additional towels and sheets which it took a while before they were provided, mostly came from next door apartments that other guests hadn’t used. We asked to move rooms after 1 night because the first floor apartment had a staircase without railing and a low balcony both very dangerous for younger children toddlers and babies. You have to drive for 12 mins to get to the closest shop, mini or super market for groceries. The mini market across the road is closed permanently. We asked the owner to lower a price on the basis of the quality of the accommodation and he refused. Booking.com was unable to help us despite many telephone conversations.

The area around the apartment is wonderful. We got good value for the money we paid. The interaction with the owner is minimum, on a need to basis. The spacious apartment is very good for families with kids. When we arrived everything was clean and we could move in immediately. Also good places to eat nearby. The place is near the beach.

The garden is left as it is, without the possibility to spend time there. Old broken furniture and nothing is organized. Also in the backyard you feel like everything is dumped there and doesn't do good to the wonderful area it is located in. Unfortunately the terrace of the apartment could have been cleaned better. Also a bigger trash bin outside would be good, since if all apartments are rented the small one is not enough.

Very good and quiet location, close to the beach and to 2 great taverns. The room is spacious and well air conditioned. There is separate WC and shower room, each with a wash basin - very comfortable for 4 persons.

They could change sheets and towels more often.

Nice apartments close to the beach of Kalogrià! Perfect for a short visit in the area and at a good price! In good condition with a nice kitchen where you can cook simple meals if you wish! It was very nice to have the apartment available early in the morning as we arrived long before the actual check in time!!!

The heat of the sun in the summer makes the bedroom an oven but it was good another two single beds were available in the kitchen area where the air-conditioning could provide a better temperature! The balcony and all external areas are in poor condition in contrast to the very nice interior! There's no direct contact with the staff and they would only reply to messages on the booking.com site!

The grounds around the hotel are not tidy

The apartment is arranged better than in the photos. We were very pleasantly surprised, compared to some bad reviews, we did not expect it to be so nice. The owner was very accommodating and pleasant to us. What we could notice is that there is plenty of space outside for parking and for children individually. The view of the mountains is breathtaking, the morning coffee on the terrace was priceless for us. The beach is very close, clean, sandy, the Ionian Sea and one of the most beautiful we have been to so far. As we found out, because we are also planning vacation here for July , ALL INCLUSIVE is available at the hotel, so we are really delighted with everything. There is a lot of content, and we are looking forward to the next arrival . BEST PRICE FOR VALUE!
