Le code d’entrée aurait dû m’ être envoyé par courriel au moins 24 heures à l’avance car le réseau cellulaire était difficile à capter dans la région. J’étais arrivée à l’appartement sans avoir encore reçu le code et il était difficile de rejoindre le propriétaire.

Es hat an mehreren Stellen rein geregnet und trotz Ankündigung ist man uns nicht entgegen gekommen. Die Steckdose im Badezimmer ist aus der wand gekommen und es war mehr kalt,das sich unsere Kinder eine Erkältung zu gezogen haben.

A very traditional little cottage, which is in a beautiful location. The water was nice and hot. There were little electric heaters which were a good addition for us, as the weather was quite cold whilst we there.

There are some reviews about insects and worms in the House. We had them too, but they were not a real problem, it must be something about the location of the cottage in the side of the valley, they do come in, typically after a day there were about 15 in the house, easy to sweep away. Not a problem. If you do not have a car, then the walk to the supermarket or Bar Sonia the nearest place to eat in Chipude is about 30 minutes. If you are staying here as a stop on the GR131 bear this in mind, also that on a Sunday the supermarket is closed. The Team here did leave us some water on request which was kind.

The location is fantastic and ideal for walking. Unfortunately, the weather in early spring was very poor. A place to stay in the summer.

When we arrived the key safe was broken. We had to wait 40 minutes for the housekeeper to come back with an alternative key. Fortunately it wasn’t raining at that point, but this would have been a major issue an hour later when it started to pour with rain as there was nowhere to shelter. The facilities are very dated. We stayed here 10 years ago and the kitchen equipment and bedding seemed to be the same as then. The accommodation is not so cheap to justify such poor fittings. The owner needs to spend some money on improving the property
