Carlton Towers Estate - Stapleton Rooms & Parkgate Cottages

The room was well decorated and comfortable and the shower was great.

The fridge was a little noisy in the bedroom

Very convenient for our daughters wedding venue and next door as well to Main Street with shops pub etc

Shower worked fine but slight trouble with the drain away as not a cubicle just very spacious wet room

The property is located within the grounds and the main house and Stables cafe are within walking distance.

The gravel drives are extremely hard to navigate if you are wearing heels, and as this is a prime wedding venue, I was surprised at the amount of area that was gravelled. In front of the main house, in front of the onsite accommodation. Quite easily ruining shoes, brides and guests.

The property is absolutely stunning, the garden is a godsend for smokers and the area is located right by a co-op which is handy for snacks

No check in desk confused me completely and the email with my pin and cottage number didn’t come through until I had already been aimlessly wandering around the grounds for 20minutes with my heavy bags looking for a check in desk of some sort. The mobile signal in the area is very poor as it is so rural and I think perhaps that is what the reason was for the late email arrival. Tv channels were limited due to signal also.
